CBB: Michigan outlasts Ohio State in thriller

#3 Michigan solidified their status among the college basketball elite with a 92-87 win at #4 Ohio State on Sunday, Feb. 21 after freshman center Hunter Dickinson dominated with a team-high 22 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks. The Wolverines improved to 16-1 (11-1 Big Ten) with the victory, as they hit 47.8% from 3-point range. Juwan Howard's team committed just seven turnovers while dishing out 19 assists. Michigan seniors Eli Brooks and Isaiah Livers combined for 29 points in the win. Duane Washington led the Buckeyes with a career-high 30 points, while EJ Liddell put in 23 points and 10 boards. Michigan holds a small lead over Illinois and Ohio State atop the Big Ten standings with five games left. According to ESPN FPI, the Wolverines have a 52.3% chance to take down #9 Iowa in their next outing on Thursday night.
