MVP Rankings:

1) Aaron Judge (Yankees)

2) Max Fried (Braves)

3) Willson Contreras (Cubs)

4) Matt Olson (Athletics)

5) Ross Stripling (Dodgers)

Aaron Judge has looked as good as ever in the first 16 games of the year, compiling 19 runs batted in and eight home runs, leading the Yankees to a 10-6 record. Just behind him, in our league-wide MVP rankings, has to be Max Fried. The Braves starting pitcher is 3-0 with a 1.59 ERA, and has helped fill the void following Mike Soroka's season-ending injury. Willson Contreras is the only catcher in our top-five players thus far, but he's been consistently impressive, earning a .317 batting average to go along with two homers. The former leads the Cubs. Following Contreras is Oakland's first baseman Matt Olson. He has 13 runs batted in and five home runs to this point and has helped give the Athletic's an AL-best 12-4 record. The final slot goes to Dodgers' ace Ross Stripling, who is 3-0 with 16 strikeouts.
