The Big 3 has expanded from eight to 12 teams for their third year, and with four new teams, comes a ton of new talent. Some of the players that are coming aboard include Gilbert Arenas (Enemies), Joe Johnson (Triplets), Greg Oden (Aliens), Lamar Odom (Enemies), Josh Smith (Bivouac), and more. With that said, the top teams in the league should stay there for the time being. The defending champions, Power, open as our top team with returners Corey Maggette and Cuttino Mobley. The 3-Headed Monsters will have Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf back, while Rashard Lewis returns from injury. Tri State should have a chance to win it all as they'll start Nate Robinson and Amar'e Stoudemire. There are some other teams to keep an eye on like Triplets with Joe Johnson and Al Jefferson and 3's Company who has Baron Davis.

Player Rankings:

1. Corey Maggette

2. Rashard Lewis

6. Joe Johnson

7. Gilbert Arenas

Power has the defending MVP Corey Maggette back, and he should be one of the frontrunners for the award again. He averaged 16.0 points and 4.9 rebounds during his NBA career, and has been the most consistent scorer in the Big 3 through two seasons. Rashard Lewis, who also has a Big 3 MVP under his belt, suffered a lower body injury last season and couldn't return. But there's no reason to believe that his three-point shot has gone away. Amar'e Stoudemire is heading into his second Big 3 season and after going for 18.9 points and 7.8 rebounds in the NBA, he'll be considered for the top player this summer. Gilbert Arenas, who averaged 29.3 points in 2006, should still be able to score the ball from the perimeter. And finally, Joe Johnson, the seven-time All-Star, is a player to keep an eye on in the high post.
