Top Moments from 2016:

1. Villanova vs North Carolina: The championship gave us a game to remember forever. Kris Jenkins' buzzer beater will go down as one of the best shots in history. The game was pretty tight throughout as North Carolina led by five at the break. It was a game for the ages as Villanova captured the title.

2. Kansas vs Oklahoma: This game was the best of the regular season by far. Kansas and Oklahoma did battle in early January, when both teams were ranked in the top two in the AP poll. Buddy Hield dropped a career high 46 points in the triple OT loss to Kansas, who ended up winning the Big 12 again.

3. Northern Iowa vs Texas: Paul Jesperson's shot was arguably the best shot of the tournament before Jenkins' game winner. The half court heave that banked in propelled No. 11 seed Northern Iowa into the Round of 32 for the first time since 2010.

4. Syracuse vs Virginia: Most people did not have Syracuse in the field of 68, yet alone picked them to make a run to the Final Four. The 14-point comeback in less than six minutes was led by 21 points in the second half by Malachi Richardson. The win got Syracuse to the Final Four for the first time since 2013.

5. Middle Tennessee vs Michigan State: Middle Tennessee pulled off one of the biggest upsets in college basketball history. Michigan State was a No. 2 seed and one of the most popular picks to make it to the Final Four but Middle Tennessee shocked the world and advanced to the Round of 32.
