The UCLA Bruins upset the No. 8 Michigan State Spartans 88-84 as guard Donovan Dent continued his historic run by erupting for 26 points, 12 assists, six rebounds and four steals in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals at the United Center on Friday.
In a win over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Thursday, Dent had the first triple-double in Big Ten Tournament history with 12 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds. Dent is amid an unforgettable run and he'll try to keep the momentum going in the upcoming semifinals.
UCLA is set to appear in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals for the first time in school history after joining the conference last season. Now, the Bruins will take on the No. 18 Purdue Boilermakers with a chance to advance to the championship game.
