The No. 19 Miami Redhawks completed the first ever unbeaten season in MAC history with a 31-0 record! After cementing themselves in NCAA basketball lore with a truly unprecedented season, Miami head coach Travis Steele called his team "confident and resilient."
"We had to overcome things but our group is resilient. We have confidence and belief. Our group just stays focused on the process. We want to peak at the right time in March," Steele said after an overtime win at the Ohio Bobcats to clinch the undefeated season.
Miami's historic, unbeaten season nearly came to an end on several occasions, but the Redhawks continued to be confident and resilient, and find ways to win. Now, Miami will turn their attention to trying to win the MAC Tournament for the first time since 2007.
