The Toronto Raptors outlasted the Cleveland Cavaliers 93-89 in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs opening round, tying the series 2-2 at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday! Toronto was led by Scottie Barnes, Brandon Ingram and R.J. Barrett combining for 64 points in the win.
It appeared Cleveland would take a 3-1 lead in the series after Donovan Mitchell and James Harden hit back-to-back 3-pointers to take a lead in the fourth quarter but the Raptors finished Game 4 on a 17-5 run to send the series back to Cleveland tied up.
Following a clutch triple from Ingram to cut the deficit to 84-82 with 2:36 left, Barrett drove to the basket and scored a layup, and Barnes knocked down a pair of go-ahead free throws to put the Raptors up 88-87 with 34.6 seconds to go in the Game 4 thriller.
"We wanted it so bad. We were hungry, fighting and communicating every possession. We're just taking it one possession at a time. That's what allowed us to get through today," Barnes said after fueling the way to a last-second, series-tying triumph in Toronto.
