Toledo Rockets host Eastern Michigan Eagles with opportunity to secure spot in upcoming MAC Tournament


The Toledo Rockets host the Eastern Michigan Eagles with an opportunity to inch closer to securing a spot in the MAC Tournament at Savage Arena on Saturday! With just five games remaining in the regular season, the Rockets are on the verge of clinching a berth in the upcoming MAC Tournament in Cleveland.

Toledo comes into the game with a 13-13 record and 7-6 mark in MAC play, led by guards Sonny Wilson (team-high 17.3 points and 4.7 assists per game) and Leroy Blyden Jr. (15.8 points per game), as well as Central Michigan transfer forward Kyler Vanderjagt and Ohio State transfer center Austin Parks.


Eastern Michigan enters the matchup with a 10-17 record and 4-10 mark in MAC play, led by Oregon transfer forward Addison Patterson (14.0 points and 1.2 steals per game), forward Mohammad Habhab (14.0 points and 8.4 rebounds per game), along with backcourt Greg Lawson and Jon Sanders.

The Rockets are 8.5-point favorites over the Eagles with the over/under projected at 145.5 total points per FanDuel Sportsbook. Both teams are still in the mix to reach the MAC Tournament, although it's a bit of a longshot for Eastern Michigan, so this game is going to be very pivotal for postseason positioning.
