NBA: Power Rankings 10.0

The Brooklyn Nets (34-16, +1) jump to the top spot in our latest rankings after acquiring Blake Griffin and LaMarcus Aldridge in recent weeks, leading to wins over the Portland Trail Blazers (30-19, +0), Charlotte Hornets, and New York Knicks. Filling out the rest of the top-five are the Utah Jazz (38-11, -1), Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers, and Milwaukee Bucks. Nikola Jokic (26.3 points, 11.0 rebounds) is widely regarded as the MVP frontrunner for the time being but things could certainly change in the next five weeks. Meanwhile, rookie Anthony Edwards (17.6 points, 2.6 assists) has continued his scorching second half for the lowly Timberwolves, who are headed for another high lottery pick.
