NBA: Zion sidelined with sprained thumb

According to ESPN, New Orleans Pelicans power forward Zion Williamson is listed as questionable prior to Thursday night's game against the Orlando Magic with a sprained right thumb. Williamson, who has missed just two games this year, was injured against the Boston Celtics in the third quarter on Monday. New Orleans is currently in 12th place in the Western Conference with a 21-25 record but they've started to play better over the last six weeks, mainly because of Williamson's consistent growth. He is averaging 26.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game on 62.4% shooting from the field. Although sprained thumbs can take weeks to heal, Williamson is expected to return before then.
