NBA: Live reaction as Jaylen Brown leads Boston Celtics in Game 2 win
The Spoken Truth Podcast reacted to the Boston Celtics 109-86 win over the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2 as Jaylen Brown scored a game-high 30 points and six assists on 6/10 shooting from 3-point range. Boston came out with a lot more energy tonight after losing Game 1 at home and Brown was leading the charge. He scored 17 points in the first quarter and the Celtics built a 32-21 lead before blowing it open in the second quarter. Milwaukee made multiple runs throughout the second half to get within striking distance but Boston led from start to finish and by as much as 26 points in the dominant win. Brown had just 12 points in Game 1 as the Celtics made the second-fewest two-point field goals (10) in playoff history. Giannis Antetokounmpo has struggled from the field in two games as the Boston defense has continued to play at an elite level.
Danny Murphy, Charles Post and Tunde Aduroja also discussed Joel Embiid's injury as the 76ers attempt to compete with the Heat, Golden State's last-second win over the Grizzlies on the road, Luka Dončić's 45-point performance as the Mavericks came up short at Phoenix and much more! Later in the live episode, we talked about how James Harden needs to score more consistently to give Philadelphia a chance to win Game 2, Klay Thompson's game-winning shot and defensive stop on Sunday afternoon, and how the Celtics can defend Antetokounmpo and the Bucks going forward. Harden had just 16 points and five assists in the loss as Embiid is expected to miss Game 2 on Wednesday.
