Detroit Pistons star guard Cade Cunningham erupted for a playoff career-high 45 points to help defeat the Orlando Magic 116-109 and stave off elimination in a must-win Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs opening round at Little Caesars Arena on Wednesday!

The 45-point explosion from Cunningham set a Pistons playoff-record, topping Dave Bing (44 points, 1968), Isiah Thomas (43 points, 1988) and Chauncey Billups (40 points, 2003). "I didn't want the season to end, got to put it all on the line," Cunningham said.

Following a record-setting regular season, the top seed Pistons were on the verge of being eliminated in a historic upset but Cunningham's clutch performance was enough to keep Detroit's hopes alive and extend the series to Game 6 in Orlando on Friday.
