The 2026 Big Ten Tournament will take place from March 10-15 at the United Center in Chicago, and even though it’s a loaded field that includes six teams in the AP Top 25 Poll, the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines are the clear-cut favorites for a good reason!
Michigan wrapped up a record-setting campaign that saw the Wolverines break the Big Ten wins record (19) and school-record for regular season wins (29), culminating in being crowned the Big Ten regular season champions for the first time since 2021.
Dusty May’s team is looking to be win the Big Ten Tournament for a second straight season and the fifth time in program history as Big Ten Player of the Year Yaxel Lendeborg leads the way alongside All-Big Ten frontcourt Morez Johnson Jr. and Aday Mara.
"We're in a good place mentally and physically," May told the media prior to the Big Ten Tournament. "This is going to be an opportunity for us to improve and compete for a championship. We're just excited to go to Chicago and see what we can do."
Michigan (+105) is the favorite to win the Big Ten Tournament per FanDuel, but other contenders include the Illinois Fighting Illini (+470), Purdue Boilermakers (+550), Michigan State Spartans (+650), Nebraska Cornhuskers (+1000) and UCLA Bruins (+3500).
