The Michigan Wolverines started the season with four goals in mind – win the Big Ten regular season and Big Ten Tournament titles, reach the Final Four and eventually be crowned the national champions.

There is a long way to go to reach the ultimate goal of winning the second national title in school history, but the Wolverines are on the verge of their first goal with the Big Ten regular season title within reach!

Dusty May’s team has been dominant this season, owning a 25-2 record and 15-1 mark in Big Ten play, and winning the regular season title for the first time since 2021 would mean a lot to the program.

Michigan has an opportunity to clinch a share of the Big Ten regular season championship with a win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Tuesday, and can secure an outright title in the following matchup.

"We know that if we get this one, we clinch a share, but I don't think anyone in our locker room wants to share anything," May told the media. "We just have to continue playing one possession at a time."

The Wolverines have won the Big Ten regular season title 15 times in program history including the most recent in 2021. Now, Michigan can take home the conference crown for the fourth time this century!
