According to ESPN's NBA Insider Shams Charania, the Miami Heat have traded for Milwaukee Bucks star forward and 2-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo in exchange for Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr, Kasparas Jakucionis and three draft picks.
Following a disappointing 2025 campaign, the Heat are hoping to return to championship contention next season and acquiring Antetokounmpo — 2-time MVP and 10-time All-Star — gets Miami one step closer to being among the NBA's championship favorites.
Antetokounmpo was reportedly ready for the next chapter of his storied career and the Bucks finally agreed to part ways with arguably the best player in franchise history. Now, Antetokounmpo turns the page to Miami as he attempts to add to his legacy.
