Matt Vierling crushes go-ahead home run in Detroit Tigers 6-5 win over Los Angeles Angels

Despite seeing a subpar performance from star pitcher Tarik Skubal, the Detroit Tigers stormed back to beat the Los Angeles Angels 6-5 behind a go-ahead 3-run home run from Matt Vierling in the eighth inning!

It appeared the Tigers would suffer a third straight loss before Vierling’s clutch pinch-hit bomb saved the day. Detroit improved to 67-50 with the win and remained in the race for the top seed in the AL standings.
