Dynamic Prep outlasts Montverde Academy 67-52 in Chipotle Nationals opening round

The Dynamic Prep School edged the Montverde Academy Eagles 67-52 in the Chipotle Nationals opening round on Wednesday night at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Indiana! In their first appearance in the annual showcase, Dynamic Prep dominated the defending champions en route to an 11th straight win as SMU commit 2025 4-star center Jaden Toombs posted 18 points and 12 rebounds to improve to 32-4 and advance to the quarterfinals.
Jermaine O'Neal's team jumped out to a 12-2 run and took a 45-36 lead into halftime before eventually cruising to their first ever win in Chipotle Nationals. Sam Houston State commit 3-star guard Ja'Cobe Coleman racked up 13 points and five steals, while SMU commit 4-star forward Jermaine O'Neal Jr. added nine points and seven rebounds in the win. Dynamic Prep owned the boards with a 48-35 rebounding edge in the victory over the Eagles.
Creighton commit 4-star guard Hudson Greer finished with 13 points and three assists, and Florida commit 2025 4-star forward CJ Ingram had 10 points and six rebounds in the loss. Montverde Academy's quest for a fourth national championship in the last five years comes to an end as they finish the season with a 19-8 record. Dynamic Prep will look to keep the win streak alive as they take on the Link Academy Lions in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
