Clarkston Wolves rout rival Belleville Tigers 38-7 in 2025 Amazon Prep Kickoff Classic showcase

The Clarkston Wolves routed the rival Belleville Tigers 38-7 in the 2025 Amazon Prep Kickoff Classic to start the season with a statement win behind 2027 3-star quarterback Alex Waszczenko's two touchdowns!

Waszczenko found wide receiver Hank Hornung for a 55-yard touchdown in the first quarter and Clarkston never looked back, taking a 24-0 lead into halftime after Gabe Mansour's 51-yard scoop and score.

Clarkston continued to pour it on in the third quarter as 2026 3-star running backs and twin brothers Griffin Boman and Lukas Boman scored touchdowns to take a 38-0 lead heading into the final period.

"If we can control the line of scrimmage then we're going to have a lot of success. We were flying around and just making a lot of plays," Clarkston head coach Justin Pintar detailed the season-opening triumph!

"Grit and determination is ran through the Clarkston program and that's how we do it. We're monsters out there and won't hold back," Clarkston running back Griffin Boman reacted to the win over Belleville.
