CBB: 2022 Big Ten Power Rankings 4.0

Illinois clinched a share of the Big Ten regular season championship with a 74-72 come back win against Iowa on Sunday night. Wisconsin had a chance to clinch the outright title earlier in the day but Nebraska went into Madison and pulled off a stunning 74-73 upset as Johnny Davis left in the second half with a sprained left ankle. Purdue fell out of the race with a last-second loss to the Badgers on Tuesday as freshman guard Chucky Hepburn banked in a game-winning shot to survive Purdue. Iowa, Ohio State and Michigan State have all been going in opposite directions lately but will certainly head to the NCAA Tournament while teams like Michigan, Indiana and Rutgers need at least one more win to feel more comfortable on Selection Sunday. Check out the updated Big Ten power rankings, tournament projections and award projections.
