Cameron Boozer, Darryn Peterson headline 2025 McDonald's All-American Game

The West took down the East 105-92 as 2025 5-star recruits Cameron Boozer and Darryn Peterson shared Co-MVP honors in the McDonald’s All-American Game on Tuesday night at the Barclays Center! Kansas commit Peterson scored a game-high 18 points to go with seven rebounds to fuel the West to their first win in the showcase since 2018, while Duke commit Boozer finished with a team-best 16 points and 12 rebounds for the East.
Both teams were filled with top rated prospects as the 48th annual event offered a glimpse into the elite talent of the next generation. Boozer and Peterson were joined by fellow 2025 5-star recruits AJ Dybantsa, Nate Ament, Chris Cenac Jr, Alijah Arenas, Darius Acuff Jr, Isiah Harwell, Tounde Yessoufou, Trey McKenney and more! BYU commit Dybantsa displayed why he is the highest rated player in the 2025 class by dropping 17 points in the win.
Houston commits Cenac Jr. and Harwell combined for 27 points and 11 rebounds. Arenas added 11 points, while Acuff Jr. finished with 12 points and four assists in the annual event. Several players that participated in the McDonald’s All-American game including Boozer and Peterson will hit the road to compete in the Chipotle Nationals tournament this week as the best teams in the country face off with a national championship at stake.
"My focus is the same at the McDonald's All-American Game and at Chipotle Nationals. Every time I step on the court, I'm taking it serious. There's always a target on my back and there's always critics so I don't get to play around. Every game I play, I feel like I'm going to win. We're not trying to go home so we're going to have to bring our A-game," Peterson said in an interview with SportsCenter Next heading into Chipotle Nationals.
