2025 Cranbrook Tennis Classic set to take place in Bloomfield Hills for a third straight summer

The 2025 Cranbrook Tennis Classic is set to take place from July 20-27 in Bloomfield Hills for a third straight summer! Chris Eubanks, August Holmgren and 2024 runner-up Nishesh Basavareddy are expected to headline the annual ATP Challenger Tour event.
After the qualifying round comes to an end on July 20, the main draw will get underway on July 21 and the singles championship match is scheduled for July 27. Learner Tien beat Basavareddy 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the second annual Cranbrook Tennis Classic last year.
Basavareddy was named Pac-12 Player of the Year at Stanford and sits at 99th in the ATP world rankings. Eubanks won ACC Player of the Year honors twice at Georgia Tech and peaked at 29th in the world after reaching the Wimbledon quarterfinals in 2023.
Holmgren was one of the nation’s top singles players at San Diego and is 146th in the ATP world rankings. In the inaugural Cranbrook Tennis Classic in 2023, Olympic bronze medalist Steve Johnson took down Mikhail Kukushkin 6-4, 6-7, 7-6 in the finals.
"The Cranbrook Tennis Classic is riding momentum across all measures of success,” tournament director and founder David DeMuth said in a recent interview. “Our fan base enjoys watching top players in an intimate setting and come out in record numbers."
