2025 Amazon Prep Kickoff Classic gets underway as Belleville Tigers face rival Clarkston Wolves in rematch of thriller

The 2025 Amazon Prep Kickoff Classic is set to get started as the Belleville Tigers and Clarkston Wolves face off at Tom Adams Field on Thursday! There are several top ranked prospects and schools that will compete in the 20th edition of the annual event.
Both teams are loaded with next-level talent including Belleville 2027 3-star wide receiver Charles Britton III and 2026 3-star defensive end Shaun Reid, plus Clarkston 2026 3-star offensive tackle Hayden Flavin and 2026 3-star running back Griffin Boman.
Belleville took down Clarkston 35-28 in a last-second thriller in the 2024 season opener as star quarterback Bryce Underwood scored a game-winning touchdown in the final minutes so Clarkston will attempt to get revenge when the rival schools meet this year!
“The Detroit Sports Commission is thrilled to celebrate 20 years of the Prep Kickoff Classic as we continue this tradition by bringing together historic rivalries and top-tier programs,” Detroit Sports Commission director Marty Dobek told the media in a recent statement.
