The Big Ten Conference voted to cancel all fall sports for this calendar year and postpone the 2020 football season. The final decision was made on Tuesday, August 11 after months of speculation. The conference did say they hope to play the football campaign in the spring but there is no guarantee that will happen. As for college basketball, it's pretty much a given that the season will be delayed but it remains to be seen whether or not the entire season will be cancelled. The basketball season was set to begin on Tuesday, November 10 with Duke-Michigan State and Kansas-Kentucky facing off in Chicago. According to Forbes, the NCAA will have a decision made regarding the start of the season by September. We'll update with more information as it comes in.
