MLB: Blue Jays to play in Buffalo
According to multiple reports, the Toronto Blue Jays will play their home games at Sahlen Field in Buffalo, New York for the remainder of the 60-game regular season. The field is the home of AAA affiliate, the Buffalo Bison. Earlier in the month, the Canadian government decided not to allow the Blue Jays to play their home games in Toronto due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Toronto was hoping to play in an MLB park, but both Baltimore and Pittsburgh were denied for various reasons, and Buffalo will have to suffice for 30 home games. The MLB has also announced they will upgrade lighting at Sahlen Field. Some of the players on the Blue Jays to keep an eye on during the regular season are Hyun-jin Ryu, Nate Pearson, Travis Shaw, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Toronto currently has a 3-3 record.
