NFL: Mock Draft Vol. 2

1. Cincinnati Bengals: Joe Burrow (QB/LSU): Burrow is clear and obvious choice atop our big board, even if we have him ranked as our #2 QB. He is from Ohio and is coming off a Heisman winning season with LSU, as he threw 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns, and six interceptions on 76.3% passing. The 6'4 quarterback has an extremely accurate arm and can escape defenders in the pocket. He'll join an offense with AJ Green and Joe Mixon.

2. Washington: Chase Young (EDGE/Ohio State): Young is far and away the #1 edge rusher in this draft and he would be the top pick if the Bengals didn't need a quarterback. He totaled 46 tackles, 16.5 sacks, and six forced fumbles last season with Ohio State, earning a Heisman finalist nod. Young stands at 6'5 and weighs 265 pounds, and will be drafted by Washington unless they trade back.

3. Detroit Lions: Jeffrey Okudah (CB/Ohio State): Okudah is the #1 defensive back in the draft by a wide margin and we have the Lions taking him third, but according to multiple reports, they're also looking to trade back if it includes a first rounder. If Detroit stays here then it seems like they have to take Okudah to fill up the gap across Justin Coleman. Okudah is 6'1 and 200 pounds. He compiled 29 solo tackles, nine pass deflections, and three picks.

4. New York Giants: Andrew Thomas (OL/Georgia): Thomas is our pick for the Giants but this selection is really up in the air. New York has expressed interest in Derrick Brown, Isaiah Simmons, and a number of offensive tackles, including the Georgia product. Other tackles that could be taken here are Mekhi Becton, Tristan Wirfs, and Jedrick Willis Jr. We have all four of them going in the first 15 picks. Thomas is 6'5 and weighs 320 pounds.

5. Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa (QB/Alabama): Tagovailoa is our #1 quarterback but because of hip and knee concerns, it's likely he'll fall to somewhere in the 5-15 range. And it's not out of the realm of possibility that he could fall to the third or fourth QB taken. We think the Dolphins take him #5, though. Tua threw for 2,840 yards, 33 touchdowns, and three picks before going down a season-ending injury with Alabama. He's 6'1 and 218 pounds.
