MLB: Evaluating the Yankees rotation

The New York Yankees are coming into the 2020 season as World Series favorites, along with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros, and Atlanta Braves. However, after the Yankees announced starting pitcher Luis Severino will miss the entire season with Tommy John Surgery, New York's starting rotation is getting called into question so let's go through it. Despite Severino and James Paxton being out for the time being, the Yankees still have one of the best rotations in the league. Gerrit Cole (20-5, 2.50 ERA) is the obviously leader, but Masahiro Tanaka (11-9, 4.45 ERA) and J.A. Happ (12-8, 4.91 ERA) should be guys they can lean on. Rounding out the rotation will likely be Jordan Montgomery and Michael King. With these five guys at the helm, I think the Yankees have what it takes to win the World Series.
