MLB: World Series Predictions
World Series: No. 2 Los Angeles Dodgers (91-71, 7-4) @ No. 1 Boston Red Sox (108-54, 7-2): The Red Sox are looking for their fourth championship of the 21st century, while the Dodgers are attempting to get a step further than last year, and finish the job this time around. This is a star studded World Series with arguably the two best starting pitchers in the league: SP Chris Sale (1-0, 14 K) and SP Clayton Kershaw (2-1, 2.37 ERA). There is also a lot of talent at the plate, with guys like 1B Max Muncy (.327 OBP, 7 R) and SS Manny Machado (3 HR, 9 RBI) for the Dodgers, and LF J.D. Martinez (.313 BA, 9 RBI) and CF Jackie Bradley Jr. (2 HR, 9 RBI) for the Red Sox. According to CBS Sports, Boston is slight favorites.
