MLB: Brewers Grab Game 1
The Milwaukee Brewers (96-67, 4-0) grabbed Game 1 of the National League Championship Series over the Los Angeles Dodgers (91-71, 3-2) after getting up 6-1, and hanging on for a one-run victory. The Brew Crew are still undefeated in the postseason after finishing the regular season 23-7 to finish with the best record in the National League. SS Manny Machado got the scoring going for the Dodgers, hitting a second inning homer to put Los Angeles up early. However, the game suddenly changed when RP Brandon Woodruff came in and hit a solo home run off of SP Clayton Kershaw. The Brewers went on to add five more runs, before holding on for a close win down the stretch. Game 2 is set for Saturday evening in Milwaukee.
