NFL: Quinn Is The Man
Bob Quinn is everything the Detroit Lions had hoped for so far. Taking a team that finished 7-9, with the biggest highlight of the season coming off of a botched field goal to beat the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field for the first time since Abraham Lincoln was president. And then subsequently turning them into a playoff team with a few minor tweaks here and there was something special. So much so that we would have had a banner up for it, until they decided not to do that this year. I mean seriously, when you have to put up a banner for playoff appearances are you really an NFL caliber team?
But anyway, that is aside from the point, the Lions are on the come up and it's pretty much all because of Quinn. After an exceptional draft class and outstanding offensive line additions, expect the 2017 Lions season to go pretty well. Pretty well as in a playoff win, but a quick exit in the second round. Now moving forward, with some draft winners and more free agent splashes, as well locking up Stafford - you're talking ... dare I say it - a Super Bowl contender within the next five years.
